The Experience

We strive to make sure our experience is as fun and stress-free as possible. The steps below detail the process we use so our clients have the best possible experience without having to worry about what is happening at each step of the journey.

Step 1

Booking/Consultation

The initial step is to contact us via the online contact form , email or social media to ask any initial questions you may have and to book in your session. We will also go through some pre-shoot questions to make sure the photoshoot goes as smoothly as possible on the day and to ensure the best possible end results.

Step 2

The Photoshoot

Once we have got everything set-up on the day we make sure everything is as relaxed, stress-free and fun as possible. We understand that sometimes the flash and the camera can be a little bit overwhelming for the dog so we go through an initial desensitization phase where we use different techniques to make sure the dogs are comfortable before we start the photoshoot. The time this takes can vary depending on the dog but it is a vital step that we never rush. Once the dog is comfortable we use various techniques to try and capture timeless moments that best showcase the uniqueness of your beloved pet. The owners are encouraged to bring as many props, toys and treats to help with the photoshoot. We will also typically ask the owner to have at least one picture taken with the pet but this is completely optional.

Step 3

Editing

After we have finished the photoshoot we upload all the images from the day to our computer and begin our editing phase. We select the best images from the day that we think captures the unique personality of your pet best. We also try to make sure that each image showcases a different pose. For example one image may be your dog in a very formal seated position and another image may showcase them at the goofiest moments such as during a treat catch. During the editing process we will add our own style to the images , however if you have discussed any preferences with us we will do our best to accommodate this. This might include a specific colour or tone that may fit better with your home décor.

Step 4

Gallery Review

Once the images are finished being edited we will send you a link to view the gallery. The images in the gallery are free to download and use on social media but are not suitable for printing. From the gallery you can let us know which image you want to have printed for your complimentary 10x8" print. At this point you can also choose to add additional artwork to your order which we highly recommend , however it is not mandatory. Quality is our highest priority so we use professional print labs to create our artwork and we regularly review their work to make sure the products are always high quality.

Step 5

Artwork

After the prints/artwork have been created we typically have them sent to us direct where we can check the products for quality to make sure they are to our standard. Once we have checked the prints we will either offer for you to collect the prints or have them delivered direct to you. We advise collecting the prints to avoid shipping issues and in some instances we may even the deliver the artwork ourselves. From here all that's required is to find a suitable place to showcase the artwork of your beloved pet!
